Phishing attacks are getting more difficult to differentiate from valid, internal emails each day.  Value Added Systems would like to help your staff quickly determine if the email is coming from an external server by creating some Exchange rules to add some information to incoming emails.  Value Added Systems has implemented the following for our mail servers:

All incoming, external emails have the banner prepended to the message so the user knows it is not an internal address.  This will help users stop the fake Outlook messages that you are out of space or wire the president money emails where they look like they are people inside the organization but are really using external addresses.  If you look in the example,it says Apple but is really “mikesoilfield.com”.
